Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • cup of green colored powdered sugar (for rolling the cookies in)

    Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 373 F

  • Keep on mixing until the chocolate chips and the nuts are evenly dispersed. It is important that once you make the cookies each cookie has enough chocolate and nuts.
  • Separate the dough into small, round cookies (about two inches in diameter and an inch high) and place them two inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • bake for about 10 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the cookies in the oven for about 10 more minutes.
  • Take the cookies out of the oven and role them in the green, red and white powdered sugar.
  • Place them on the serving pan in this order: stripe of green, white and red.
